Executive Director

Renaissance is very special to me. In 2016, ground was broken and construction began. I was part of the leadership team as Executive Director. Once the doors opened, I enjoyed the daily lives of our residents, families and team members until my retirement in July of 2019. That was such a wonderful and rewarding time that I’ll always hold dear!

I did miss the hustle and bustle that this great community holds, and left retirement behind in 2021 to take my seat as Executive Director of Renaissance once again!

My family moved from North Dakota to Florida in 1965. I’ve been in Vero Beach since 1970 and graduated from Vero Beach High School, then attended Stetson University. After working in local banking for many years, I opened an animal care and feed business in downtown Vero. I eventually closed the doors and joined the senior living industry, serving as an executive director for over seventeen years before my retirement.

My husband, Joe, and I have two sons and a sweet little granddaughter. I remain an avid animal lover with one cat, two golden retrievers and six Peking ducks that live at our lakeside Vero Beach home!
